Catch Basin Replacement
The perimeters of the proposed area are cut to enhance compaction and appearance. Once excavated, materials are properly disposed of at the proper facility. Pre-cast concrete catch basin or hand built block and mortar is installed then existing drainage lines are tied in. The existing cast iron frame and lid will be reinstalled on the new basin and reset at the proper height for drainage. The excavated area is back filled with crushed aggregate, leveled, and compacted. Either 4,000 PSI concrete or 1100T hot asphalt is furnished and installed.
Catch Basin Adjustment/Repair
An 8'x 8' area is cut and removed. The loose block or brick is removed. If needed, new blocks or bricks are installed with mortar and all other joints are tuck-pointed to ensure proper bond. The existing cast iron frame and lid will be reinstalled on the new basin and reset at the proper height for drainage. Either 4,000 PSI concrete or 1100T hot asphalt is furnished and installed.
